First of all, I worked on a proposal of a new logo for the DIARC, the university of Architecture of Naples.
I wanted to create a basic but impact logo, playing with shapes and lettering.
The result is a logo mixing the letters DIARC with the shape of an Arc, one of the basic architectonic elements and an element representing the city of Naples since it's really diffused all around the city.
Starting from this new identity of DIARC I did the project for an eventual open day, naming it
FOLLOW THE ARC - FOLLOW DIARC.
Here is a preview of how the way-finding system should be at the entrance of the university.
Follow some details about the material for the wayfinding on the main facade, and the plants of the three different floors with the installations (arches).
The ARC becomes the main element of the wayfinding system. Strictly connected with the new logo proposed for the DIARC, it's used as a guiding element for the visitors.
I created a tridimensional structure of an arc in two different colors. This structure is used to create a path simple to identify, guiding the visitors in the right direction.
The arc structure is mixed with other elements, such as tridimensional elements on the walls, and a bigger installation in honeycomb cardboard.
